Interested in attending a live webinar for CE credits? We’ve got you covered. Neurotone AI is an approved CE provider for the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and the International Hearing Society (IHS). Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know about attending and claiming continuing education contact hours.

Getting hours is easy:

  • Register to attend a CE webinar.
  • Attend live webinar.
  • Complete course evaluation & assessment forms.

How it works

Live webinars hosted by Neurotone AI are a great way to get continuing education hours while learning about topics related to auditory training and aural rehabilitation. From deep dives with the research community to conversations with hearing care practice owners who have thriving aural rehab programs, there’s so much to learn and share.

Here’s some more information about how to register for webinars and qualify for continuing education hours.

Pre-webinar

Register to attend any webinar that has continuing education hours eligibility. The webinar description will indicate how many contact hours are available and which professional organizations automatically recognize the credits.

Webinar

Attend the webinar live using the email you used to register (very important: we must be able to verify live attendance to certify you were there).

Post-webinar

Within 1 day of the event, all live attendees will receive an email with links to 2 forms you must complete within 7 days: the evaluation form and the assessment form. Once you submit your information, you’ll receive a certificate of attendance from Neurotone AI within 2 weeks. Once you receive your certificate of attendance, you can submit it to your professional organization for recognition. *Note: If you’re a AAA member, we will submit on your behalf.

FAQ

Can you submit on my behalf or do I need to do it myself?

All live attendees who complete the evaluation and assessment will receive a certificate of attendance to submit for hours to whichever professional organization you belong to. We are already approved by AAA and IHS, but you can independently submit the certificate of attendance to your chosen accreditation body.

  • If you’re a AAA member, we will submit on your behalf once we receive the evaluation and assessment back. Be sure to include your member ID number on your form.
  • If you’re a member of IHS, instructions on how to claim your CE credit will be found in the assessment form we send you after the webinar.

I’m outside of the US but still want to submit my attendance for credits/units in my local professional organization. How do I do that?

If you attend live and complete the evaluation and assessment form post-webinar, you will receive a certificate of attendance that you can submit to your professional organization for recognition of the continuing education hours.

I attended live, but I didn’t complete the forms. Do I still qualify for credits/units?

To qualify for continuing education hours, you need to complete the evaluation and assessment forms sent to you in the post-webinar email to all live attendees. This will be sent to the email you used to register for the event. You have 7 days to complete this form, so, make sure you return it right away. If you need a new copy of the forms, contact marketing@neurotone.com. Once you complete the evaluation and assessment forms, you will receive a certification of attendance within 2 weeks that you can submit for credits.

I didn’t attend live; I watched it back in full, though. Do I still get credit for attending?

Thank you for taking the time to watch the webinar. Only live webinar attendees are eligible for a certificate of attendance, which is necessary for live CE hours.

I’m not sure that I received the form after the webinar.

Check the email you used to register and attend the webinar. Only live webinar attendees receive a post-webinar email with evaluation and assessment forms to complete. So, if you weren’t able to attend live, that’s why you didn’t receive it. If you did attend the webinar live and used the email you registered with to join, we will have a record of your attendance, and you should have received one.
