Implementing LACE in Your Practice

Its easy!

1. Setup your Neurotone Pro account, including automated patient email
   reminders. (NeurotonePro.com)
2. Message to patient:
   • Keep it brief and direct – tell him/her what to do
   • There are two components to maximizing your communications confidence:
     o Amplification (hearing aids)
     o Retraining your brain to understand speech (LACE)
   • You will be doing ten LACE sessions starting the day you get your hearing aids. Please read this brochure in the next few days. It describes LACE and what you will be doing
3. On day of fitting:
   • Create patient record on NeurotonePro.com
   • Ideal: do session 1 in the clinic otherwise patient starts at home
   • Give patient the LACE disk and tell them to have four sessions done by next
     follow-up visit
4. Rinse & repeat
5. Your patients will experience 85% of their improvement after just ten 20-minute sessions. If they want to continue for additional sessions, encourage them to do so

Product Options

LACE HE (Home Edition)

Designed for home use, LACE HE allows you to provide auditory training services to patients who choose to use LACE at home on their home computer.

LACE HE can be installed on your patient's home computer and it can accommodate up to three users. This feature is intended for patients who may have someone else in their home who would like to take advantage of LACE.

When you order LACE HE, you will receive the software on one CD-ROM for each copy you order. Then simply hand the CD-ROM to your patient for them to take home and install LACE.

Should you choose to, you may create patient records on our business to business web site (NeurotonePro.com). This will allow you to view your patients' training scores. This step is optional.

LACE CE (Clinic Edition)

Designed for in-clinic use, LACE CE allows you to provide auditory training services to patients who choose not to use LACE at home or do not have access to a computer. LACE CE can be installed on one computer in any professional facility and it will accommodate an unlimited number of users.

LACE CE comes bundled with two of the best desktop speakers available from the award winning pros at Meyer Sound - The LARK. These studio reference desktop monitor speakers provide accurate, distortion free performance from 150Hz to 15kHz.

Each LACE CE Package contains everything you need to set up a 'listening lab' in your facility:

• Additional 10 User Registration Codes
