I would like to say I wish I had shown more hearing improvement than I think I have, but I do believe it has been a good start toward toward becoming a better listener. LACE has helped me to feel more comfortable in social situations, and I pay more attention to what people are saying. I definitely could use more training regarding rapid speech in particular. I once felt the situation was hopeless, but I have become encouraged to keep trying to hear and to listen better. I now know it takes both.
